Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose

These Terms define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the online sale of products offered by the company Majellan to the consumer. Any order placed on the site implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

2. Products

The products offered for sale are those presented on the site. Majellan endeavours to present the products as accurately as possible (descriptions, photographs, specifications). Slight variations may nonetheless occur, in particular because of screen settings or of the way the products are made. Products are offered while stocks last.

3. Prices

Product prices are shown on the site in the currency displayed at the time of the order, according to the customer’s location or chosen settings. Unless stated otherwise, prices do not include delivery costs, which are specified before the order is confirmed. Majellan reserves the right to change its prices at any time. The price that applies is the one displayed when the order is confirmed.

4. Orders

The order is confirmed once the customer:

• selects the desired products
• confirms their cart
• enters their delivery and payment details
• confirms payment

An order confirmation is sent by email. Majellan reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order in the event of a dispute with a customer or a payment problem.

5. Payment

Payment is due immediately when the order is placed. Payment may be made by the means offered on the site. The site runs on the WooCommerce e-commerce solution, and transactions are secured and processed through the Stripe payment platform. Majellan never has access to complete bank card details.

6. Delivery

Products are delivered to the address given by the customer when ordering. Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on the destination and the carrier. Majellan cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the carrier or to exceptional circumstances.

7. Right of withdrawal

You have fourteen days to exercise your right of withdrawal, without giving any reason and without bearing any costs other than those set out below. The period runs from receipt of the card.

To exercise this right, notify us of your decision by an unambiguous statement, addressed to Majellan, 26 avenue des États-Unis, 63000 Clermont-Ferrand, France, or by email to contact@maisonmajellan.com. The model withdrawal form is attached to your order confirmation email; using it remains optional.

Return the card no later than fourteen days after notifying your withdrawal. Return costs are at your expense.

You may handle the card as you would have done in a shop, to establish its nature, characteristics and proper functioning. You are liable only for any depreciation resulting from handling beyond that.

Majellan refunds all sums paid, including standard delivery costs, no later than fourteen days from the day it is informed of the withdrawal decision. The refund may be deferred until the card has been recovered or until you have supplied proof of its dispatch, whichever comes first. It is made using the same means of payment as the original order.

By placing an order and accepting these terms, you expressly request that the service associated with the card be provided before the end of the withdrawal period. If you withdraw, you remain liable for an amount proportionate to the service actually provided up to the notification of your decision.

8. Subscription cancellation

Your subscription to the Majellan business card has no minimum term. It renews automatically each month, charged to the payment method on file.

You may cancel your subscription at any time, online, free of charge and without giving any reason, from your account: the “Subscription” section, then “Cancel”. This function is permanently available, in accordance with article L. 215-1-1 of the French Consumer Code.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly period, which has already been paid for. No further payment is taken thereafter. Amounts covering the current period remain due, the service having been provided.

You keep the physical card already delivered; the connected features associated with it end at the close of the current period.

A cancellation request may also be sent to contact@maisonmajellan.com. Handling it online remains the fastest route.

9. Faulty products or order errors

If a product received is faulty or does not match the order, the customer must contact customer service at: contact@maisonmajellan.com. Majellan will then offer an exchange, a replacement or a refund, depending on the situation.

10. Liability

Majellan cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper use of the product purchased. Majellan’s liability cannot be engaged in the event of force majeure.

11. Intellectual property

All elements on the site (text, images, logos, design and so on) are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, use or exploitation without written permission is strictly prohibited.

12. Personal data

The information collected when orders are placed is necessary for processing and managing transactions. This data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the site and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. Failing an amicable agreement, the French courts alone shall have jurisdiction.
